What is a BIN Number?

A BIN Number is the first 6 digits of a credit/debit card number. We use the BIN Number to simply get the location that the card was issued from. We cannot access any other information about the customer through the BIN Number. A BIN (Bank Identification Number) can also be referred to as an IIN (Issuer Identification Number).
